Blaues Wunder Söll
The ”Blaue Wunder“ or Blue Wonder is a particularly popular station at Hexenwasser and a highlight in its own right. Here you can explore the “source of life“ in a playful manner with currents, gurgling water and much more…
Less than half an hour from Ellmau, you will find M4 with a several cinemas, a reasonable shopping centre with cafés and restaurants plus a nine-pin bowling alley.
Jochberg Copper Mine

The pretty border town of Kufstein, just 20 minutes from Ellmau, has an impressive fortress and the Riedl Glas crystal factory is an interesting place to visit.
Schwaz is also well worth visiting: about 45 minutes from Ellmau, the Silver Mine (with underground train rides) and Planetarium make a fund excursion for all ages. This can be combined with Swarowski (details below)
Swarovski Crystal Worlds
The glittering Chambers of Wonder at Swarovski Crystal Worlds literally take your breath away in Wattens, around 50 minutes away.
