Wilder Kaiser Ski Area
Voted best ski resort in the worldOur Wilder Kaiser - Brixental ski resort is one of the world’s largest inter-linked ski resorts! But of course it is not all about size - quality too. The area here has already received several 5***** awards as best skiing area and is widely regarded as extremely family-friendly.
The modernity of the lift installations, snowmaking facilities, price-performance ratio (we are number 1 in Austria!) and other factors have been confirmed in various international tests and the ski resort has been repeatedly voted best ski resort in the world
And rightly so: with a total of 284 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes, 90 state-of-the-art lifts and over 70 mountain huts in the region - every level of ability and preference is well catered for. Around 225 kilometres of slopes have snow-making facilities, so snow is guaranteed throughout the season!
Snow-sure and expansive
A few years ago, the "KI-WEST" connection provided a link to the Kitzbühel ski area , thereby placing another 54 lifts and 170 km of slopes at skiers’ disposal (with the Kitzbühel Alpen Skipass)!
And if you still want more, the Kitzbüheler AllStarCard offers use of an incredible 359 lifts and 1,081 km of slopes in the Kitzbüheler Alps...
Family benefits for Landhof guests
Another big advantage offered by the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental: there are beginner and nursery slopes for the ski schools at the top mountain station. So the whole family can travel up together and it's easy to arrange a meeting point!
Incidentally, Landhof guests enjoy a very special advantage: we are only 800 m away from Hartkaiserbahn cable car, which was completely rebuilt in 2016! The 10-person gondola lift takes you directly from the valley station to the ski paradise of Wilder Kaiser – accessed comfortably with the ski bus, which stops every 15 minutes right outside our front door.
And another piece of good news: our guests can use the ski lockers in the Hartkaiser bottom station for a discounted price. So you can simply slip into your ski suit in the morning, travel the few metres by bus with the whole family and put your ski boots on and collect the rest of your ski gear when you are at the cable car station. Easy and straightforward!
