Favourable Location

Stunning Views

The Wilder Kaiser Region, in the heart of Tyrol with its picture postcard villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll, is in actual fact an environment of particular rarity; the Kaiser Mountains and all its peaks have been under environmental protection since 1963.

Although Ellmau is well developed for tourism, its charm is still very much alive. At the foot of the Wilder Kaiser the clocks tick a little differently – idyllic countryside nestles against the imposing mountain backdrop.

A Veritable Nature Lover’s Paradise

Walking and hiking trails lead up into the forest from the Landhof – no need to take the car! In winter the ski bus departs every 15 minutes right outside the door – Landhof guests can make use of the ski depot at the Hartkaiser lift station just 800meters away. So the whole family can board the bus in comfort, putting ski boots on and collecting ski gear before taking the gondola up the mountain.

In both summer and winter, the region offers a multitude of activities for the whole family – from a visit to Ellmi’s Magical World via The „Witches‘ Water“ and on to a trek with Llamas...

“Here at The Landhof ,our guests live tucked away in the midst of nature…and yet still so very close to the action - if that is what they are looking for!”

Urlaub beim Bergdoktor
