A paradise for children!
Enough place for gambling, fun and laughing Holidays can be so relaxing if your children are happily and safely occupied. The Landhof offers 8000 square metres of traffic free grounds where the children can run and play to their hearts’ content. For our young guests, we offer a children’s play room, adventure playground with water play area, a tree house, a trampoline, small animals like goats, rabbits and donkeys plus weekly pony riding and lama trekking. In the high season periods of July and August we also offer an inclusive children’s activity programme from Monday to Friday 09.00 – 16.00. The Wilder Kaiser region has won a series of awards for children-friendly holiday destinations and Ellmau is one of the top 20 family villages. The Landhof is a member of the “Family Nest Group” and as such we are specialists in family holidays and interesting programmes for children’s activities with the emphasis on nature and outdoor pursuits.
The adventure playground at the Landhof offers so many activities: quite apart from the usual swings, roundabouts, seesaws and so on, there is a play stream, a trampoline, a tree house, a field for football and volley ball, as well as table tennis and badminton.
During the summer season, our collection of pets will provide hours of fun for the children: our donkeys, Frieda, Felix, Mandy and Sunny, our miniature goats: Kathi, Barbara and Doris and a host of bunny rabbits.

Animal holiday acquaintances
During the summer months, we offer once weekly pony riding up at the Harmstätt stables with our ponies Carmen and Snoopy and, likewise, once weekly lama trekking at the Koglerhof farmhouse with our two lamas, Jenny and Jessy.
Should we have a period of less good weather, our indoor activity playroom with climbing frames, swings, ladders, playhouse, lego, building blocks and junior film afternoons offers hours of fun. |
